Welcome to Arbolitos Childcare, where nature and language come together to nurture young minds!

Located in the Ridgecrest neighborhood of Shoreline, we offer a nurturing environment for children aged 0-5, blending the comforts of home with the wonders of nature. Our full-day program runs Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Our commitment to maintaining low ratios, typically at most 3:1, guarantees that each child receives the individualized care and attention they need to thrive. We prioritize your child’s well-being, providing two snacks and a nutritious lunch made with mostly organic, locally sourced ingredients.

Our holistic approach blends the richness of Spanish language learning with the wonders of outdoor exploration, fostering a deep appreciation for nature and cultural diversity. Children are encouraged to engage in hands-on artistic activities and are supported in their independence as they take ownership of their learning journey. Join us as we cultivate a love for language, nature, and the arts, providing your child with a foundation for lifelong curiosity, compassion, and creativity!

Our Approach

Our seasonal curriculum is designed to encourage children’s innate curiosity and foster a deep appreciation for the world around us. They will have the chance to participate in the entire lifecycle of plants, from seed to harvest, as well as experience the mesmerizing journey of salmon in the various stages of their lifecycle, right here in our local surroundings. We strive to surround children in beauty and nurture their fondness for art by providing both passive experiences, such as listening to music and poetry, and active engagement through hands-on artistic activities.

Our hope is that through this immersive approach, children will not only develop a strong foundation in Spanish and a deep connection to nature, but also cultivate a lifelong passion for creativity and exploration. We aim to cultivate global citizenship and environmental stewardship from an early age.
