Owner, Lead Teacher
Born in Venezuela and raised between Caracas and Miami, I grew up immersed in a rich cultural and linguistic environment that shaped my identity as a native bilingual. This foundation led me to pursue studies in Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley, where I examined the intricate relationship between language and perception. My research focused on understanding how language shapes our understanding of the world around us, a topic that deeply resonated with my personal experiences as a bilingual. After completing my studies, I embarked on a career as a Data Scientist, leveraging my analytical skills to uncover insights from complex datasets. However, it was the arrival of my own little boy that ignited a new chapter in my life journey.
Becoming a mother inspired me to blend my background in language and cognition with my love for nature and education. Motivated by my son’s curiosity and the desire to share our language and nature adventures, I made the decision to open a daycare. Drawing upon my experiences as a bilingual individual and my expertise in Cognitive Science, I am dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Through my unique approach that integrates language immersion and outdoor exploration, I strive to empower young minds to embrace curiosity, creativity, and cultural diversity.
